Whether you're visiting a loved one, enjoying the outdoors, finding peace among our trees, or participating in a tour or event, a visit to Oakwood Cemetery promises a memorable experience.
We are open until dusk, and we do have a few rules:
- Cemetery hours are dawn to dusk
- Artificial flowers are not permitted April 1st - December 1st
- No marble chips, bark chips, fences or any types of borders
- No potted plants after October 1st
- All holiday decorations will be removed the week after the holiday (excluding wreaths)
- Glass containers, vigil or solar lights not permitted
- Check with the office before planting
- Office hours 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday
- Speed limit 10 mph
- Please place trash in receptacles provided
- No loitering, violators will be prosecuted
- No trespassing after hours
